Mary Linda Designs
I have lived in the Malta area for 34 years with my family of 5 children and 8 grandchildren. I am retired now but most recently, was employed by JoAnn Fabrics for 13 years in the fabric department.
I am a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. I gather poll workers for the Saratoga County Board of Election each year.
My passion is sewing. I was taught by my grandmother at a young age. I also learned more skills as a member of 4-H for 10 years. I have sewn clothing for my family, home, and took up quilting 30 years ago. I sew quilts for family as well as charity.
Due to the pandemic I have taken on the task of making masks. I have made nearly 800 masks relating to season, holiday, children's topics, and heritage subjects. They are two-ply cotton. Many masks have been donated to Street Soldiers III, Schenectady.
